I am the owner of Big Dog Supplements in Lafayette, La. I sell mostly sports supplements to guys trying to get big and buff. I have been able to build my business mostly on a reputation for wanting to help people reach their fitness/health goals. Recently, one of my friends/customers came in to the store and told me that since I was always doing things for him, he'd return the favor. He introduced me to a product that he had begun selling. Or "promoting" as he kept saying. He doesn't sell anything, he just tells people about it and lets them decide what they want to do with that information. I honestly wasn't very interested at first because it was a health drink and most of my customers are looking to either put on muscle or take off fat. They're usually pretty healthy already and don't need anything like this. But, I went ahead and told him I'd look into it.
During my downtime at the store, I went to a couple websites to do some research. I found most of what was helpful to me at www.limunation.com and also at www.thelimucompany.com. After a bit of reading, I was pretty impressed with how many people had life-changing experiences. I was reading about people not needing high blood pressure medicine anymore or not taking as much insulin from their diabetes. I could go on and on, but you could go and read them all yourself if you wanted to.
What it boiled down to was whether or not I wanted to invest money into this. For myself, I didn't really feel like I NEEDED the product, but who doesn't want to just feel better in general and have more energy throughout the day. My main thing was that I was looking at the business side. And coming from a retail store owner, I can tell you that if you don't have a quality product to sell, you might get a few sales but eventually people are going to figure out what's going on. If you want to do well, you have to have a quality product that you can stand behind with confidence and know that it will work for the customer.
So I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. I have to say that I am in a different position than most people as I have customers coming in to talk to me all day that I can introduce it to. Granted, a lot of people that get into the business side of Limu end up introducing it to their co-workers and possibly customers too. Either way, there has been way more interest in Limu than I would have ever expected. I'll continue updating on how things are going.
